Our Staff

Melissa, the manager, has worked for our company for eight years. Prior to working here, she worked for Top.s Kennels for seven years, maintaining their facilities and establishing herself in the pet industry. From there, she moved into the German Shepard Dog world, handling and training dogs for a multitude of clients. For two years, Melissa managed the kennel and breeding program for Von Regis Regal German Shepards - she knows the business inside and out. She has since taken over what used to be RB Renegade.s Labrador breeding line (now One Ton Labradors) and focuses on Our Turn.s clients, guests, services and her own dogs! She.s never afraid to make special arrangements for our guests to ensure that they are cared for properly or to make sure that a client.s needs are met. Melissa is known for her fantastic grooming capabilities, her knowledge when it comes to training and for being a genuinely wonderful person. Alyse, our assistant manager, started at this facility as a volunteer when she was 11! At the time, she was a bather and kennel hand, specializing in playtimes and washing bowls. She did leave us for a while after high school to broaden her horizons and gain an education, but in May of 2012, she came back to us just as we were transitioning over to Our Turn Pet Center. In the time she was gone, she worked as a full-time Veterinary Technician for four years, learned a whole lot while working on UW.s dairy farm, got married and began volunteering and fostering for her favorite breed through various local rescues. Alyse brings a lot of medical experience and knowledge to the table, but her favorite things are now marketing and training . though she still washes plenty of bowls and won.t pass up an opportunity to do playtimes!
